He held visiting positions at the  London School of Economics and Stanford University. He is affiliated with the CEPR, CESifo, Centro Studi Luca d’Agliano, and CRENOS. Previous to joining the University of Milan Andrea held an Assistant Professor position at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, and Post-Doc positions at the Geneva School of Economics and Management and at the McDonough Business School, Georgetown University.
